    Programme Overview

    Dr. Pravat Kar

    PhD, NIT, Rourkela; Certified ITP, LBS, London

    Dr. Kar is an experienced Associate Professor in marketing at Goa Institute of Management, with over 20 years of experience in academia and industry. He specializes in marketing productivity, consulting, and behavior change, and has led institutional development projects and research. He is currently leading a project to enhance online teaching capabilities at GIM. He also enjoys experimenting with pedagogical innovation.

    Dr. Yukti Sharma

    Post-Doctoral Research Fellow(Marketing), Ph. D (Marketing)

    Dr. Yukti Sharma is an Assistant Professor in marketing at Goa Institute of Management. She completed her post-doctoral research in marketing from IIM Calcutta and her doctorate in “Marketing at subsistence marketplace” from Jamia Hamdard. Her research interests include Marketing, Developmental research, and Information systems. Her works have been published in reputed journals such as Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, and Health Marketing Quarterly.

    Dr. Anurag is a highly experienced marketing professional and educator, currently working at the Goa Institute of Management. He has previously worked at several top institutions, including IIM Bangalore, SIBM Pune, and Leeds Metropolitan University’s India campus. He is also a visiting faculty at several new IIMs.

    Dr. Padmavathi Shenoy

    Dr. Padmavathi Shenoy holds a Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli. She has 10 years of experience in industry and academia, including techno-functional roles in MNCs and as HR manager at start-ups. In academia, she has promoted industry-academia-community engagement and has conceptualized and delivered life skills and employability enhancement training programs.
    Padmavathi Shenoy

    About GIM

    In 1993, the Goa Institute of Management was founded. It is an independent management school with NBA certification that is located in Goa and associated with AICTE. Students can enrol in a 2-year full-time flagship PGDM programme at this 29-year-old institution.
